Maruti Suzuki - ESPN Star Rankings
The rankings are available on Cricinfo and is sponsered by Maruti Suzuki. Previously they were available on the old espnstar.com website but after the revamp of the website they were shifted to Cricinfo. The It must be noted that Cricinfo is a part of espnstar group. The rankings have been developed by the experienced and famous statistician Y Ananth Narayan.
These rankings are quite famous atleast in India due to their regular telecast on sports channel. The rankings are based on comprehensive formulae. Team rankings take into account a teams performance both at home and away. Similarly player rankings also analyze a number of conditions while taking into account the previous 18 months performance.
